Karen did a good job with my family matter case which was a difficult situation that I was not prepared for. She was understanding of my situation and was informative. My particular case did not involve a lengthy process however if problems arise with this again which I am sure it will I will certainly call her again.

Karen Boston did not give me an answer when I asked her why she could not represent me. I offered to pay for legal advice and she refused the offer. I would never recommend her to anyone. She may have had a valid reason not to represent me and give me advice but she would not say WHY she would not do that. I don't understand why she did not tell me WHY she could not represent me.

Karen E. Boston’s response: “You should know that because of attorney-client privilege there is a good chance that she could not tell you why she had a conflict. What you consider as being evasive may actually be a sign of professionalism - that she is unwilling to encroach at all on the attorney-client privilege; for example, she cannot tell you, "I can't represent you because I already talked to your spouse about representation in a divorce." If she were to have said that she would have broken her confidentiality as to spouse. As an attorney I hate to hear bad reviews based upon these facts because she easily could have been acting consistent with her ethical and professional obligations of confidentiality. I hope that makes you feel better about the situation.”
