  • James Nesci

A few years ago, my law partner introduced me to Ryan Russman. At the time, I was co-authoring practice manuals for attorneys on DUI/DWI defense in several states. One thing led to another and we ended up co-authoring a legal treatise: New Hampshire DWI Defense; The Law & Practice (available at Lawyers and Judges Publishing Co. ). If I could sum up my reaction to Ryan's work in one word, it would be "impressed." Ryan's depth of knowledge of New Hampshire law, of the science behind breath and blood testing and of trial tactics is phenomenal. What is even more impressive, however, is the fact that he is willing to share his knowledge and tactics with other defense attorneys instead of jealously guarding it. That speaks volumes about his character and his dedication to the profession. You would be hard-pressed to find a better or more knowledgeable DWI attorney in New Hampshire.

Ryan is an insightful, brilliant attorney who understands the importance of being prepared by obtaining the highest level of training possible as a trial attorney. He has the "people skills" to communicate a message to jurors, which makes him ideally suited for jury trials in both criminal and civil cases. In 2010, Ryan and I co-authored a book together, and he did a top-notch job in writing his portions of the book outlining NH laws on DWI. I commend his services to any resident of New Hampshire or nearby states when you need a WINNER for a trial lawyer.
