Very quick response to my question related to a quit claim deed with life estate. I really appreciated the response....and it cam in within like 10 minutes!!
I asked a question and received an answer within 10 min. This lawyer quickly responds and explained how to reolve my issue in the most honest way.
If need to, i will retain mr levesque. But thanks to his. Quick answers i feel more confident.
Thank you kindly,
Stephen helped out my family in a time of need. I never expected an attorney to respond to our calls so quickly. He really went above and beyond and solved our problem. His office was caring and very professional. We had seen two other attorneys who couldn't give us a straight answer. they really didnt care. Stephen was honest from the start. And even though our case got very complicated he never quit. He hung in there until we were finished. Since then he has helped my brother and mother. He will always be my familys lawyer. Well that's it. Hope this helps someone else.
This was my first time using this website. Stephen was very helpful. He answered my question very quickly. Then, he answered a few lingering questions I had after. He was knowledgeable and help me deal with my situation.
Stephen P. Levesque is a great attorney and absolutely knows what he's doing. I actually worked as a paralegal for a Rhode Island Bankruptcy attorney and I knew what to expect when I myself was faced with the unfortunate task of filing for bankruptcy. I would never recommend the attorney that I had worked for to anyone, because he was slow in responding to client's needs and sometimes I found him to be completely insensitive to clients who came to him for help. Fast forward to Attorney Levesque, who absolutely knows Bankruptcy law. My bankruptcy was somewhat complicated but he didn't seem the least bit bothered by it. He also went up against some pretty heavy hitters in my particular case, and although I was a skeptic in the beginning, he made me soon realize that he knew precisely what he was doing and there was no need to doubt his experience and ability. I would recommend Attorney Levesque without question.
Consulted regarding bankruptcy in mid 2013 without research and based on my familiarity of knowing who he was.
Started out with good communication but experienced early in the process that I had to keep making time to contact he or his office to ask questions as situations developed. Reduced responsiveness and limited contact and verbal communication was an increasing characteristic of this attorney as the process progressed.
Setting expectations and providing information on my bankruptcy filing was not clearly or fully communicated, especially from my point of view as someone with no experience in this area.
A sense of justice compels me to pursue things more formally than just this post for there were a series of structural issues with my case.
First , a Chap 7 was filed with some expressed skepticism by me concerning its viability as Atty Levesque provided information as to how it would work. He repeatedly assured me that he can do what we were trying to do. The result from the first "meeting of creditors" with the court on this Chap 7 was that our strategy was disallowed.
I switched to a Chap 13 filing and a few days later Attorney Levesque contacted me for a consult because he had learned of a change in the law that adversely effected certain aspects of my Chap 13 plan strategy. Proceeded with this Chap 13 under a new expectation, as options appeared limited at that time; however, the plan was sent back for modification due to an unacceptable payment plan.
Submitted another Chapter 13 payment plan and again it was rejected.
Got family involved with possible cash injection to make a repayment plan feasible. Attorney Levesque designed what appeared to be a viable plan with this cash infusion. As part of this fourth plan submission I received a written communication from the court indicating a time deadline with my case filing. Attorney Levesque was informed of this deadline also but was very unresponsive to my numerous contacts to stay on schedule. In the end, after my continued persistence he gave me some time close to the deadline, the deadline came, he filed for a waiver to extend my case, the court denied the waiver request, and my filing was dismissed.
Reaction by me was to pay another fee to a different attorney who fully explained all my options and what I needed to know. Result was a satisfactory and different design to file Chap 7 which was processed without incident and discharged in early 2014. Attorney Levesque did not explore or explain the aspects of the law that my second attorney did resulting in my desired outcome.
Too bad for Mr. Clegg. But I sincerely doubt that his review is true. I'm not one to defend someone but if you ever met Stephen you would know that whoever Mr. Clegg is - he is full of it. Not only did Stephen take every call but he came through when we needed it most. There were no disclaimers or mistakes. Highly recommended!
Stephen did everthing he said he would do. Kerri and Anita were wonderful to work with. We saved our home from foreclosure, got rid of our second mortgage and eliminated all of our credit cards. Before meeting Stephen we tried to work with a credit counselor and met with other attorneys. He was the most honest and sincere of them all.
