I bought a house in Massachusetts. This DiCristofaro guy bought a car from a family friend, and the used car salesperson recommended I use DiCristofaro for the house closing legal review, title and lien search, etc. I hired him. He did the lien search. He didn't report any problems to me or my wife. He sent a colleague to come to the closing. It's a good thing I bought title insurance. Lo and behold, when I went to sell my house, I found out that at that time that I bought it, some creditors had placed liens on the house against the people from whom I bought the house. But DiCristofaro either didn't do a thorough lien search (I paid him to do one!) or he didn't report the results accurately to us.
He was aloof and haughty. He was very unpleasant.
