Practice focusing on Enforcement of Judgments (MA, sister-state and international), commercial collections and business litigation. Professional Fee Disputes. Contract Disputes and Negotiations. Defense of Claims including credit card debts and other debt related claims. Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices. Special counsel in complex collection matters.
With over 25 years experience, I seek to achieve my client's aims as efficiently and effectively as possible. I litigate in the Massachusetts State Courts and in Federal Court. At the outset, I assess the collectibilty of all claims and proceed accordingly. In the proper case, i will apply for prejudgment remedies, such as bank account attachments, real estate attachments, actions to reach and apply (e.g. a debt owed to the debtor) and special attachments (e.g where property is held in trust).
I believe it is important to treat each client with respect and I pay careful attention to the progress of all of my cases. I am accessible and responsive. I strive to uphold a high level of honesty and integrity in all of my dealings with clients and opposing counsel.
When necessary, I collaborate with lawyers in other jurisdictions and with lawyers who have other areas of expertise, such as real estate, chap 11 (reorganization) bankruptcy, I also manage collection portfolios for commercial clients.
Hourly ($250-300/hour), Contingent (20-33%), Fixed (Sometimes), Retainer (Sometimes)
I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Levine is bright sharp and practical. She immediately (in a no nonsense approach) appreciates the strengths and weaknesses of a case and uses that knowledge to get the best result for her clients. She cares passionately about each and every client, they are NOT just names on a file.
