About Me

Currently a partner in the Intellectual Property Group at Robins Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, L.L.P., my trial record includes high-stakes patent infringement disputes as well as copyright, trademark, trade secret and trade dress litigation. I counsel and help my clients enforce their intellectual property rights through negotiation, mediation, and licensing.

My training as an electrical engineer sharpened my analytical and persuasive skills, grounding my legal representations in the practical realities surrounding innovation. Working across the cutting edge of complex intellectual property disputes, I have had multiple courtroom successes in matters involving a diverse range of technologies including printers, televisions, radios, toys, audio/video and broadcast technology, electronics, SCSI technology, cell phones, power tools, genetic formulae, household products, dental implants, athletic footwear, cell phones, video surveillance technology, and automotive technology.
