Faced with a difficult situation I turned to Attorney Christopher Saccardi for help. During our initial meetings he set my expectations for possible outcomes and we reviewed a strategy to get the best possible solution for me. Throughout the entire process Chris was very forthcoming and knowledgeable. He discussed all of the potential stumbling blocks and we worked through Plan Bs. The most important thing Chris helped me with was patience. At time when I would become extremely frustrated at the situation he would calmly help diffuse whatever was going on. His patience was invaluable.
In the end I got the best possible outcome that neither of us really expected. I would definitely use Chris again in the future if I am faced with a similar situation.
Chris's handling of my landlord-tenant matter was outstanding. He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, efficient, and he got me tangible results. I would highly recommend his services.
I called a few lawyers regarding a tenant who was chronically late with rent payments. No one returned my call. Chris Saccardi returned my calls promptly (if he could not answer immediately), presented options for making the best decisions considering the circumstances, and treated everyone involved with patience and understanding. Chris kept me updated on his side of the situation by either phone or email. Luckily we did not have to take this to court as my tenant left "voluntarily". I high recommend Chris Saccardi to anyone facing landlord/tenant problems. Thanks, Chris!
Landlord/Tenant law in Massachusetts and especially in the Boston Housing Court is unbelievably complicated. When my wife and I had problems with the tenant in our one and only rental unit, friends warned us we were in for a very long and very frustrating journey through the courts. No way we were going to try this on our own, so we went looking for the best Landlord/Tenant attorney in the area. We wanted someone who really understood both sides and could anticipate problems and obstacles before they blind-sided us. When we met Chris Saccardi, we stopped looking.
As it turned out, it was the best decision we made. Chris is very affordable; he's an expert in the convoluted world of Housing Court with all its odd little nuances; he's cool, calm, and collected under fire; plus he's a real lawyer's lawyer. He gets it. Our problem was a deadbeat "professional tenant," who was not paying rent, and would not leave. He was milking the system and using the court for everything he could get away with. Friends warned us we could be stuck with this guy for a year...or longer. No rent, no apartment. Amazing! What a headache!
After educating us on what we were up against, Chris put together a plan of action that used every legal tool available to us to back our moocher into a corner more than once and finally got the Court to get us an eviction order, a judgement for back rent, and most important... he got a constable and moving van to send our friend packing so we could move back in to our apartment... all within about 13 weeks! Chris was a real life-saver...and probably a marriage-saver. Ask my wife. I could not recommend him highly enough. Whether you're a landlord or a tenant, you won't find a better, more level-headed, or more knowledgeable advocate. He's the best! Thanks again Chris.
I highly recommend Attorney Saccardi, who represented me and my wife over the course of 1 year as we experienced landlord-tenant difficulties from 2013-2014. We experienced unannounced renovations, difficulty getting repairs, and general hostility with our landlord. Chris helped us feel protected while we lived at our rental, and made sure we could leave the rental property without complications from the landlord. Chris is very knowledgable because landlord-tenant disputes are his sole focus. Most importantly, he is a good person and that is the type of attorney you want on your side.
I would recommend Chris Saccardi to anyone looking for an attorney who specializes in tenant-landlord law. Chris was very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. As soon as I had an initial meeting with him, I felt confident in him handling my case. He clearly explained all of my options and made sure that I understood what was going on at every step in the process. Chris always kept me updated on my case through phone calls and e-mails, and he was very accessible when I had questions. I am very satisfied with his handling of my suit and its successful resolution.
I've emailed Chris hundreds of times over the past year and a half. We've met in person on a number of occasions. I can't count all of our phone calls. He invested more hours into my case than he probably wants to count.
The outcome of all of Chris's work? A completely terrific settlement that recovered what my family lost after being treated very badly by other people in the Boston real estate world.
It took a long time because we were negotiating with people who thought we'd lose interest or give up while they dragged the case out. Once we finally made moves to file suit, they realized we were serious, and the case was settled rather quickly. We made the mistake of thinking there was some measure of good faith in their negotiations. Lesson learned.
Chris, however, was always completely honest. He told me the truth about the ways things could go badly. He anticipated problems ahead of time. He thought through the details and understood what was needed. At every stage, I had confidence that Chris was working tirelessly to get a great outcome for me and my family.
If I ever have another problem in the Boston real estate market, Chris would be the first person I would call. I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I wouldn't even possibly consider calling someone else. If I have ever have a friend who needs a good lawyer in Boston, Chris will be the attorney I insist they use. Give Chris a try - if your experience is like mine, you will be very impressed. After a year and a half of working with him, I am pleased to strongly endorse him as an excellent lawyer with great integrity.
After inquiring with a few Boston landlord/tenant attorneys with no return calls back at all, Attorney Saccardi returned my call within 10 minutes and had my entire case wrapped up in 4 hours. I found Attorney Saccardi on the LAR Limited Attorney Representation list at the Suffolk Housing Court website. Prior to connecting with Attorney Saccardi, I had done a lot of my own legwork, spent hours putting together my own case, then Attorney Saccardi stepped in and negotiated the terms for me. All for under $275. WOW! Attorney Saccardi comes highly recommended and genuinely cared about my rights first instead of the $$$. Thank you!
Attorney Saccardi represented me as the landlord in a legal dsipute with my former tenants. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. He presented me with a few options and answered all my questions. Attorney Saccardi answered all calls and emails in a timely manner.
Chris represented me in a case against a tenant that was delinquent in paying rent. He was always highly responsive - whether it by by phone or email - and kept me abreast of all developments. He also knew that I was working with a limited budget and both quoted me a reasonable fee and worked hard to minimize my costs.
Chris made sure I was well informed about the process and prepared me for all possible outcomes. While I wasn't able to recoup all of my losses from my tenant, I was able to secure the majority of the back rent and get the tenant to move out well ahead of the original move-out date laid out in the lease. I would highly recommend his services.
