Areas of Practice:

Jessica practices in all areas of family law, including divorce and adoption; mediation; abuse prevention and restraining orders; consumer protection and consumer debt defense; and personal injury and other civil legal disputes.  Attorney Walsh is also a certified family law mediator and provides mediation services to clients in all areas of family law and parenting.


Bar Admissions & Memberships:

Jessica is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Women's Bar Association. Jessica is also a member of the Massachusetts Domestic & Sexual Violence Council where she serves as the co-chair to the Training & Event Planning Committee.


Honors & Awards:

In 2014, Attorney Walsh received the distinction of "Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts" by Boston Magazine.


In 2013, Attorney Walsh was recognized by colleagues as a Massachusetts Rising Star in Boston Magazine's annual list of Super Lawyers.  No more than 2.5% of Massachusetts lawyers are named to the list of Rising Stars.


In 2012, Attorney Walsh was appointed to the Human Rights & Sex Trafficking Film Forum Committee of the Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights (BITAHR).  The committee was established to highlight the role of film and art in advancing human rights and combatting sex trafficking.


Education & Experience:

Jessica received her Juris Doctor degree from New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to law school, Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of Connecticut where she graduated magna cum laude in 2007.


Activities & Community Involvement:

Jessica serves as a private pro bono attorney for the Rape Survivors' Law Project at Boston's Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC), providing legal representation for victims of sexual assault in privacy, safety, housing, education, employment, and financial compensation matters.
