About me

Attorney Michele J. Da Silva earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Rutgers University / Douglass College in May of 2000. She earned her Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) after graduating from Massachusetts School of Law and is admitted to both the Massachusetts Bar and United States District Court – District of Massachusetts



Prior to attending law school, Attorney Michele Da Silva was employed as an Executive Manager and Head Paralegal at the Law Offices of Norka M. Schell, LLC in New York, New York where she worked from August of 2000 through December of 2008 exclusively with Immigration and Nationality Law. Specifically, Attorney Michele Da Silva worked with a wide range of individuals as well as U.S. companies on employment based legalization and family based legalization. It was this exposure to the struggles of immigrant community combined with her passion for the law that led Attorney Michele Da Silva to pursue her Juris Doctor degree.


After graduating from Massachusetts School of Law, Attorney Michele Da Silva interned with Attorney Roger Witken, a seasoned criminal defense based out of Boston, Massachusetts.


Today, Attorney Michele Da Silva fights vigorously to defend her client’s causes in the areas of immigration law and criminal defense. She is the principal/owner of Da Silva Law Group with offices located in Boston and Framingham, Massachusetts.


Attorney Michele Da Silva is proud to be affiliated with Attorney Norka Schell and the Law Offices of Norka Schell, LLC with offices in New York City and White Plains, NY to represent clients throughout the east coast with all types of immigration cases. Both are known as aggressive attorneys with high standards of professionalism and legal advocacy. They are also regarded as creative lawyers who think outside the box and explore all options to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.  


Attorney Michele Da Silva's ability to speak fluently Portuguese and Spanish allows her to listen and understand each client’s unique issues and to communicate effectively with them in order to understand their objectives. 


Attorney Michele Da Silva's academic accomplishments includes being a recipient of four (4) CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Criminal Practice- Bail to Jail (2010), Consumer Protection (2010), Real Estate Financing & Conveyancing (2010), and Lawyers in Contemporary Society (2011). Today, Attorney Michele Da Silva currently holds membership with the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).  Attorney Michele Da Silva also frequently writes legal articles for publication in the Brazilian Times Newspaper as well as the Asemana Newspaper.
