At such a revealing,sensitive, and difficult time in our lives we made the BEST decision with choosing Attorney McCleod. He was professional, honest, well-educated in his field and most of all compassionate. He kept us well informed through the whole process and we never had a doubt this was the lawyer for us. Beyond Mr. Mcleod's expertise ; his approach and his ability to make us feel comfortable and respected during a trying and vulnerable time in our lives gave us hope for a better future. We would recommend Attorney Mcleod and his law firm to anyone that might be having a financial crisis. We are better people for knowing him and feel their are better days ahead! Mr. Mcleod helped me decide if bankruptcy was beneficial to me or not and which version of bankruptcy was approriate for my situation. He was honest and forthright when answering my questions & returned my many phone calls/emails in a short span of time. No question seemed to phaze him. He made himself very available to me, though I know he was busy. Once I talked to him in our initial interview I knew I didn't need to look further for a laywer. I was very comfortable talking to him about my situation.


Once started my bankruptcy went smoothly. I was reminded when I had forgotten something needed for it and he and his staff were personable and professional at all times His paralegal staff was excellent. Everything got wrapped up in the time he said it would, in the way he said it would, despite my fears. He made this process very easy for me, once I gave him my information.

I would recommend him (and have) to others who are looking into needing to go through the bankruptcy process.

With the down turn in the economy I was forced to file for bankruptcy protection for both my business corporation and for myself personally. Bill and his staff were excellent throughout the entire process. I would (and do) recommend to anyone facing financial difficulties.

Bill was a very attentive, knowledgeable lawyer with years of experience in bankruptcy cases. It was evident in the way my case was handle which involved a failed real estate portfolio and mounting debts. I was able to gather all necessary documents on time, reviewed them with him and he filed the case as planned.

His ability to see beyond his client emotional needs was noticeable. He was objective and clear about specific requirements of the law, potential issues and risk mitigation. He correctly advised me to file for chapter 7 instead of 11 that can become an issue for me due to my current income and other interests.

He continued to assist with issues in my case even after my case was discharged. He is very professional with a sound and reasonable price structure. When filing for bankruptcy, knowing how much it will cost you to take your case to court is a critical thing. We worked out the numbers upfront and I never regretted it.

I was going through something very personally agonizing and William Mcleod made the entire process easier and more manageable than I could have ever expected. When my wife and I finally made the decision to seek help 3 years ago we had no idea where to turn. I called a local lawyer and left a message but my call did not get returned for 2 weeks which I politely said never mind. Then I searched the Internet and found Bill, gave him a call, had a quick chat and scheduled an appointment to see him. If I remember correctly, I believe that we saw him on the 4th of July. How’s that for service.

At the meeting and after reviewing our situation Bill recommended that we consider filling for Chapter 13. Then after letting it sink in for a little bit we agreed. That decision turned out to be the best thing we could have done. Bill explained the reasons why and it made perfect sense. Who could have foresaw back in 2005 what would happen to the housing market. Bill did!!!

Now everyone’s situation is different so I’m not saying everyone should have done the same, but Bill’s expertise in this area is simply THE BEST!!!

I always looked forward to talking with Bill. When financial issues were pressing and I had to be truthful with Bill, I was given straightforward responses never left with self doubt about past decisions made.

One who has to declare bankruptcy may have negative connotations. Never felt that way with Bill. Always treated with upmost respect, dignity, professionalism, and concern.
