After having a bad experience with another Elder Law Attorney, I posed the question to family & friends to find an Elder Law Attorney who came with high recommendations. That was how I came to find Steven Cohen and now I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an Elder Law Attorney.

Steve consulted with me on financial issues as my mother moved from assisted living to an Alzheimer's nursing home, and later handled her Medicaid application. I found Steve to be personable and real, always patient, and knowledgeable, competent, and thorough. He was also able to refer me to other professionals in elder care specialties that could help me do my best for my mother. His legal assistant, with whom I also had a good deal of contact, was equally approachable, helpful, and responsive.
