About Me

Whether a client is involved in an investigation, administrative action, arbitration, mediation or court action, Mr. Brown has the experience to successfully handle the matter.  Over the past 26 years, Mr. Brown has tried cases to juries and judges and has helped to establish new law on appeals.  His practice has included issues pertaining to contracts, securities, broker-dealers, fiduciary duties, class actions, intellectual property, leases, land use, insurance and unfair trade practices and he represents both plaintiffs and defendants.  Mr. Brown has also helped parties reach resolution as a mediator. 


Mr. Brown is active in public service by serving as Chairman of the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission, the body that oversees all of Massachusetts' public pensions, comprising more than $70 billion in assets, and he serves as Vice-Chairman of the Norwell Zoning Board of Appeals.
