1st offense OUI, Speeding, Leaving he seen, not my best night. CWOF all the way around, Gerry did have to send a associate to the final court date as he a Federal case starting, but he was well informed and I felt he had my best interest in mind the entire time. Always promptly returned calls, answered questions. In the end I got just what Gerry said he could get me. What more could you ask for. Thanks Gerry and Chris!
I had no criminal record. worked in law enforcement for more than 10 years. paid attorney Leflamme thousands of dollars. never figured that I would go to jail for a simple assault case. He must of had a good Idea I was going just before entering the court room he made sure that he received full payment.
Sentenced to 6 months I tried calling him from jail to find out what went wrong all he had to say was don't worry you wont be there for 6 months.
He is a very educated hard working man.. Would recommend him to anyone.. His track record is excellent and works hard for his clients.
Jerry has been the best attorney. I owe him my life. He worked so hard and has been there foe everything. I dont know what this guy below is talking about because you couldnt find a better lawyer than him. You're very lucky to have him by your side in court!!!!! I have heard nothing but awesome things about him and his team and I know it because i am currently going through a case with him. He is a stand up guy and keeps his word! He is a good man and a outstanding attorney. Everything he says he does and he honest. He's kept up everything hes said. I feel safe and confident with him by my side!
My dwi case was pretty simple. Gerry was late filing paperwork, I would leave many messages before he would call me. I asked for a refund, still no answer. What a waste of money. Instead of 90 day loss of license, it's coming up on 9 months. Avoid this guy!
In the past and currently the present I have retained Attorney LaFlamme , I find him to be one of the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, and resposive Attorney's it has been my good fortune to retain. He and his staff have continously kept me up to speed on the status of my cases and given me the best advice each and every time including the present. I would reccomend and have reccomended Attorney Laflamme to my family and friends.
Gerry does not keep you informed as to what is going on with the case. I felt his approach to the case overall was laid-back and that he was not too concerned with the outcome or my future. My first disappointment of the case was when Gerry told me that if I plead guilty to my second offense DWI, after I served 3 of the 5 years loss of license I could request a hearing with the Department of Safety and attempt to get my license back early. This was a lie, after 3 years went by I contacted the DMV and the Department of Safety and was told there is no such hearing nor could I request anything of the sort. I was told that I will have to wait until my reinstatement date to get my license back. The next disappointment and potential catastrophe of the case was when he decided to send an "associate" to my habitual offender hearing who in my eyes had no idea what was going on. Now this was a very important part of my case, if certified as a habitual offender this would double the amount of time I lost my license, cost me even more money, and I would be sent to jail for a year! When I arrived in Concord for the hearing, needless to say, I was surprised not to see Gerry there and that instead he sent his “associate” This guy really did not know much about my case and basically told me there is nothing he can do and that I was just going to have to take a hit and become classified as a certified habitual offender. Fortunately I hired a second attorney for this case who stood up and told Gerry’s associate that he will be handling the hearing. We all went into the room where the hearing took place, my newly hired lawyer pointed out a traffic stop where I received two tickets. According to law when being considered as a habitual offender they can only count one offense per stop, which in turn meant I was one ticket away from being certified and I was not going to be certified. The hearings officer said you are right and I was not classified as a habitual offender. This is why I gave Gerry such a poor rating, I would never recommend him or his associate to anyone I know. As hard as it has been since I lost my license for 5 years and spend 10 days in jail, it could have been a lot worse if I did not hire another attorney and let Gerry’s firm continue to represent me.
