I continued working for many years, even though the disability was severe. When I could no longer work, I applied for Social Security Disability, but my application was denied.
I called Attorney Roberts. He prepared a summary of all my treatment records going back many years, and he obtained a report from my doctor that explained why I could no longer work. Atty Roberts was very thorough and detailed with compiling all my medical records.
When I went to the hearing with Attorney Roberts, I explained my condition and limitations. The judge told us the medical records were complete and my claim was allowed.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I worked with Attorney Roberts on a case involving what is often described as an “invisible disability.” The Claimant was severely impaired, but the disability was not understood or believed by the Social Security personnel who reviewed the written treatment records, and the Claimant’s testimony.
Attorney Roberts helped the claimant find treatment, and he obtained reports from examining physicians who were able to explain the disability to Social Security.
Attorney Roberts stayed with the case after it was denied at several levels, and he was able to get the case remanded from Federal Court to an Administrative Law Judge who did see the Claimant’s severe disability, inability to work and eligibility for disability benefits based on his work history.
I have over 20 years' experience in assisting claimants who are homeless with accessing SSA benefits. I admire his persistence, dedication, care and persistence. I definitely recommend Atty. Roberts.
I recommend Attorney Roberts as thorough, and dedicated to helping the disabled workers he represents.

I have a close family member who lives in Attorney Roberts area. I live hundreds of miles away. My family member has cognition problems and physical health problems. I contacted Attorney Roberts, and he orgainized the Social Security case for us. He worked with the nurse, social worker, and doctor's offices, to obtain documentation of the disability.
When it came time for the hearing, Attorney Roberts represented my family member. He asked the questions that we needed to show the judge that my family member cannot work.
Attorney Roberts understood the importance of prompt handling of the disability case, because my family member needed a disability decision in order to qualify for special housing in the community. Attorney Roberts also helped me to understand how the disability status affected settlement of Medicaid issues involving my family member.

Atty Roberts helped me in 2009 in the sale of a piece of property. I am the power of attorney for my father who needed to sell his multifamily house in Connecticut. The sale was complicated by the presence of tenants who needed eviction. Atty Roberts was very professional in handling the eviction and eventual sale of the house. He kept me informed regularly via emails and phone calls, and he was very meticulous and researched every detail regarding the sale of the house. He did a very thorough job and I was pleased with the whole process. I would definitely recommend him, and I will use his services again in the future.
