My wife is thinks if I don't go talk to them I will be arrested because I look guilty for not talking to the police.

Most people think this and want to cooperate. The police rely on this. However, the police can not arrest you without probable cause. If they have it they will arrest you whether you speak to them or not. If they don't have it, your talking to them might give them probable cause. You have no way of knowing what information you supply might help provide a missing piece. Don't talk to them. I strongly suggest you sit down with an attorney. Spend the money and retain someone. You can't rely on legal advise for something this important through an online service. This is a good place to start, but you have gotten all the advice you can get from it. Now you need to get into someone's office. We specialize in sex offenses, so if you want a consultation, please give me a call - 916-932-7150
