I just ran into the same problem with my apartment complex. My package was signed for as well by a employee. I just moved in and the first time I went to the office to pick up a package, I was surprised to find that they did not ask for ID. And env worse they said I could go in to the storage room to pick up my package myself. To me this meant anyone could walk in a pick up packages that did not belong to them. So now I'm missing a package I am pretty sure it was stolen. Even worse was the management lack of accountability. Lucky what I lost was not too expensive. What I want to know is it legal for them not to have a safe method of holding packages?
