I respectfully disagree with Mr. Ballard. A talent agent is the correct type of agent to approach for a reality TV concept, not a literary agent. And an agent will likely not be interested if it is your first project. Entertainment attorneys that do a lot of work in the area of reality television represent or work with most cable TV networks and production companies and "Can" open doors. Especially those attorney that are also licensed talent agents like myself. You really need to vet the attorneys you are considering in retaining and make sure that they have the right qualifications and experience.
