I want compensation for the money owed. I have no documentation from when I first agreed to care for the animals. It is my word versus heard. However, I am afraid to go to small claims court because of this and her threats of assault stating cops/court will always believe the woman meaning I would lose simply because I am male.

I'm asking if the alleged assault is the same case or a separate case from the small claims? Do her accusations effect the money she borrow while I was the care taker of her animals?
