Thank you for your help with this question but can you please answer me 1 more question. You posted that lnk for exemptions, but that link said its for Bankruptsy exemptions. Now again, if i were to get sued and they wanted to take my car, would those exemptions still protect me from losing my car in a civil suit? Or are they only for if i file bankruptcy? Thats the question i really need to know. Cuz im not planning on filing for bankruptcy.

That is why you need to follow the information on this site to your state webpage to look at the state laws for yourself. Although the vast majority of state exemptions are also bankruptcy exemptions, unless you look at the law, your won't know. As I am not licensed in your state, I can only offer guidance to you of where to look & can't provide you with legal advice.

Ok, again, thank you for your help with this. Tho im still lost. I looked at that site and looked at what it has for PA but they only ever mention exemptions for bankruptcy, not if the same things are protected in a civil lawsuit. I just cant find any clear answers to my question about this on the internet. Everything is so confusing. :(
