Florida has its own state version of the FDCPA which has broader application than to collection agencies. You should consult with an experienced consumer rights attorney who activity practices consumer law in Florida. I suggest that you look for one at www.naca.net.

WHOOPS = Attorney Perrone is correct. I assumed it was a collection agency (i.e., a debt collector) harassing you. The FDCPA only applies to debt collectors.
