I dont understand how one could be charged wile the other one is not. I saw the whole thing and It was self deffense they are both black and blue. This is his fiert time with having a P.O. and his first PV you think they will just revoke him like that?

There are some fights where both people are equally at fault. If the police believe this to be true, they might arrest both people. There are other fights when one person is the aggressor and the other person is just acting in self-defense. If the police believe THIS to be true, they would probably just arrest the person they believe to be the aggressor.

The fact that one was arrested and not the other does not mean anything about guilt, other than what the officers believed when they came out.

I think someone on a 2-year sentence for coercion could easily anger the court by getting arrested so quickly for a fistfight. But, if he has a valid self-defense claim, he may be able to avoid being punished.
