Thank you Mr. Ireland, you've been really helpful. My attorney did not show up for my hearing but its been over 2 years since my case hearing, is it too late to get a fee arbitration?
I found out my car was not reaffirmed a year after my BK was discharged when I was reviewing my credit reports for the first time. Now that this problem has come up I'm bothered at all the mistakes my attorney has made so I want to see what I can do in terms of filing a complaint. I wrote a formal complete with The Bar Association and filed all the appropriate paperwork yesterday.

Unfortunately, the statute of limitations on malpractice, I am pretty sure, is one year from the date of discovery. Since you knew over 2 years ago the attorney missed the hearing, it is probably too late to pursue a fee arbitration, but you can contact the LA County Bar and ask.
