I agree with these additional answers which add additional reasons why consultation with an attorney is necessary. A trustee has a duty to personally consult trust counsel not only for the trustee's personal benefit but with respect to the affairs of the trust. Nothing short of personal, paid consultation with trust counsel will suffice.
