I wouldn't go by anything a website says. He needs to arrange an in-person meeting with a defense attorney in his area who can review the specifics of his case and advise him from there. Most defense attorneys offer a free consultation.

Thank you very much, Ms Jaggers. Do you handle Denton County at all?
And thank you for your time.

I do handle some cases up there, but in this situation I think you're better off with someone based in Denton. If you can't find someone on Avvo, I recommend Denver McCarty. 940-566-6100. I believe that's his number.

Thank you for replying. I just read that Injury to a Child ( his was count III) is never eligible. So my question is : is there any use pursuing this with an attorney? Is it at all possible and is the information below correct?
However, On a website "RecordGone.com" after taking an eligibility test, it said he would be eligible for "Texas Setting Aside of Conviction".
More details include:
He was indicted on the felony of Injury to Child Count III.
He was 17 she was 3 months younger than him age 16.
Order of Community Adjudication without Adjudication of Guilt
Injury to a Child /Count III
Probation 6 years but was reduced to 4 or 5 years.
It was in 2001.
He can't get a job and needs help with this if possible. He was a kid and did what most teenagers do but never get charged or arrested for, sex with a girl or boy friend.
thank you for your time.
