Ok, I know it's been two years now, but I want to say a couple of things about this. Yes, I went to my bank in Mexico to request another copy of the check and to cancel the original one. The only problem it's not that the money wasn't into my account the problem is that I'm in Chicago and had to travel to mexico in order to get the check issued again wich I don't know everybody else but to me it's a lot of money. Once I had the check I went to another bank BBVA and they did the transaction with no problem. My question is, can Bank of America really do this with no consequences? It is really ok that I had to pay the expenses twice because of the lack of profesionalism from them? There is no legal resource against them? If so, america needs to double check its legal system. Thank you for your answer.
