I have a sitution I know a 24 yr old man who got a sixteen yr old girl pregnant they been messing around for two years at first he didn't know her age but later found out meaning she was 13 and he was 22 when they met. She is now pregnant and her mother is ok with it.she approves of the relationship. Is that ok? Can the state interfere even if the girls mom doesn't press charges? How serious could jail time be?

You should see the comment below by stedmansamuel. Law enforcement usually will not become involved unless someone makes a complaint. 23 years and 364 days is the cutoff if the girl is 16-17. It is not okay, but, as I said, unless a complaint is made, he probably won't get in trouble. Otherwise, he could be facing up to 15 years in prison.
