I'm glad you are going to get your license. That will help with potential plea negotiations. However, the only way to avoid a conviction on your DMV and criminal record is to fight the case. There are no guarantees of course, but if you don't do everything you can to avoid this, it will follow you forever. Also, as an 18yoa, Judges love to sentence minors to jail for DUI offenses. Not a lot of jail, but enough to prove a point and "scare you straight". You really should lean on your family for assistance and hire an attorney. Any of the three attorneys who have responded to your posts are great choices and have a tremendous amount of experience.
