After thinking about it a bit, I think that Asker meant that someone was trying to con her out of the estate. Asker referred to this person as the "conner." If I am wrong, then Asker can post again. I think this was an attempt to change the Will, but it sounds like it was fruitless.

That does make more sense. In my native South Georgia dialect coroner is pronounced conner.
