I think at this point after the information received here, it's knowing the difference between needing to hire an attorney or hire a bk preparer, I have filled out 80% of the chapter 7 sheets already on my own. I really don't have much and I am sure a lot of people say that, but I really don't. I have less than 7K in a 401K which I am not fully vested in, I don't own a home or have any real property besides my car which is worth less than $1,100.00. I literally have the bare minimum to furnish a two bedroom apartment for my child and myself. My life insurance policy does not have a cash surrender value and I make less than 42k a year and that's it.
