Hard to hire one when you are already in the dire straights I viewed a article from the Florida Supreme Courts and they seem to think mediation with the bank and working out a plan at basically no lawyer fees is the best way to go, lawyers charge way too much and it is not guaranteed. Also talking to your lender after it has changed hands three times is not pleasant then the banker basically telling me to go to my brother's bank and let him loan me the money to pay them off i told her that I dont do all my buisness with family and what poor advice I have banked with them for years, The original owner he would have worked it out with me in a new york second, but he died then they sold out, When I originally got a equity line it was right before Christmas and he said it would take a little while but he wanted to help me out he just gave me 2,000 dollars and I said please take it out of the loan amount or I will just pay you back he said no you pay it forward when u can do that for someone one day, and that is exactly what I did, not too many small town banks left such as those for that matter people with a heart, whom dont realize everyone is not always as fortunate where has the American Dream gone I dont expect to get it for free but it would be nice to be able to work things out and make them workable for all families!! God Bless everyone whom is going through hard times, and never mind the guys whom call and say pay us 4,000 dollars and we can help?? why I would rather give it to the bank, not only that I had been in default two weeks offered to pay up the 9,000 owed and they said no it was too late I was in default never seen a bank turn down money! hmmmm!

The bank does not correspond with you at all they had mine with an attorney in Orlando I call the bank, my bank says they are not our attorneys never heard of them, I had sent all financial information along with hardship letter everything they asked for. For what no reason at all just to talk to fifteen other people at the bank that had no idea about my foreclosure and or any government loans, Freddie Mae Fannie Mac dont the banks know about these things or do they really care?? My house is worth thirty thousand less than appraised at now and I am still fighting it, I wrote letters to the court after proof of publication I have yet to receive one certified letter from the bank or anyone for that matter?? dont they have to do this?? Or just steal the house from you and your five children and your left to go nowhere with no money.. They need to give u time to deal with it i have taken the financial course and thinking of filing ch 13??

I have responded to the bank, they act as though they know nothing about it, I responded to the courts with a letter of hardship, i now go for a five minute hearing because we have a judgement on the home for a apartment I co signed with for one of my children in college she could not stay and had to break our lease she fell six flights from a balcony and could no longer stay, she survived and has done well unbelievable!! anyway they immediately rerented the apartment we were paid up to date and they put a lien on my home for 12,000 dollars so the bank is taking me and the apartment owners from Gainesville to court the 17th of Nov, I did hire a bankruptcy attorney but I just cannot afford a foreclosure attorney, I have already paid 30,000 in attorney fees to take my X back to court for a fraudulent affidavit, he is an attorney and he stated he made only 200 thousand a year when reality was he made 1.3 mil the year we divorced, i found out too late and he also acquired properties during the marriage i did not know until way too late, that is life I guess I dont know what I will do. I thought that the Supreme court devised a law that you could mediate with your bank in court and try to resolve it with them and make arrangements to defer arreas to work payments out that were affordable I am upside down in this home anyway, it is not worth what is owed? thanks for the answer maybe u can give me some more insight if able.
Thanks again for your time and kindness,
With kind regards,
Jane
