He put in the money for the downpayment, the car title is in both of our names, and the loan is in both of our names. We are still married and have not filed for divorce yet.

Well there are three options in divorce. He can be reasonable and take it but then if he does not pay they come after you. Or you can take it and if you do not pay he comes after you or you both hand it back to whoever you bought it from and your credit suffers. You can try to sell it if you both agree. Good luck.
