If your client was sued for infringement, your client could cross claim against the ticket broker. But the best way for yor client to resolve the problem is to stop working with this ticket brokef and let MLB know that's what you did. And you should have a lawyer handle this for you. Do not try to deal with this on your own.

Thank you for your response, we would never use a free site, we have a contract with 123rf.com and we are actually reseller of their images to our clients. We only deal with commercial use since we are a B2B company so we have to re-license every image we purchase from the site for a customer. This is the first run-in I have had with an organization like MLB so we were not 100% sure of the limitations etc.. It seems that my client is using a company called Ticketplatform (a ticket broker) and they charge their customers a LOT of money and are providing them with all stolen images when they help them build their websites, and are basically setting them all up to be sued!! We are just trying to be sure that what they are doing is illegal and the next step is to figure out how to stop them. Their smallest package is $799/month!!
