The answer is no, they cannot sue you after bankruptcy.
The issue is what to do with the merchandise.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. My chapter 7 is real basic and simple...no assets just a car loan that i want to keep(will be a long time till i can get that interest rate again.) but not sure how arizona does reaffirmations?
Also the best buy store credit card. the tv and computer i purchased with the card were sold about six months ago....needed cash for medicine...so i sold them. can best buy still try to make me pay because they are a secured creditor?

Can try, but not likely to. Usually just send letter claiming they have a secured interest, but they have never sent proof when requested, so they never go forward with an action to have the debt survive the bk. Unless a bk judge gives permission (which requires an adversary proceeding, a big hassle for a relatively small debt), they cannot try to collect on it..

ok so you're saying that after the discharge best buy can file a judgement for the items included in the chapter 7? so is that where i would list them as contingent claims?
