You have to be 18 to adopt someone.

From another avvo user: Contact a children advocacy center close to where you live. You can email me to help you if you want to. I am a advocate against child abuse.

I do feel so strongly for you and your siblings. Yes, at the minimum age of 18, you "can" adopt your siblings. I know that you are fearful to call CPS, but you need not be afraid. They have an OBLIGATION to protect those girls, and also to protect your rights. I have been through a similar situation, and the absolute WORST thing to do, is to merely leave them in this horrid situation. It is NOT your fault! So, please don't take me wrong. However, since you are aware of the abuse, first hand, you really need to call Child Protective Services and seek the assistance of anyone who works in the field of Advocacy against child abuse. I pray for the best for you and your siblings.
