Several moths out of his/her life stolen. Stress. Aggravation. Pain. waste of his/her time. delays in other issues. Diversion. Destruction to his/her life. unwanted record. loss of happiness. loss of motivation. health injury.....on & on...

Having the public defenders (and their "investigators") as your lawyers is like having the prosecutors as your defense lawyers. Also, I wonder why there are so many women and female "investigators" in the public defenders office. It seemed in the particular county, the public defenders/investigators were 80% women. Not that the private lawyers are better.......

And how about thousands of people who commit serious crimes like robbery, attempted murder, frauds, thefts, patient abuse in the hospitals etc who are never arrested or prosecuted and don't have to ever go through the "justice" system? They don't need to be "acquitted" since they are never tried. What kind of "justice" is it?

Imagine how things would be if your defender gave up and did not defend you and you were found guilty as result.

Sure you could be hit by a bus and be dead tomorrow and that would be the worst scenario. But does that justify all other injustices done to you? I'd rather be the plaintiff in the civil case and recover millions in restitutions.

If the government didn't prosecute the person, they didn't have to defend him/her. And there are thousands of women/men who don't get prosecuted.

Why is DHHS payingn off Hooper Lundy and Bookman, a Los Angeles law firm and their greedy hospital clients/health care lawyers $700 million? Hospitals and health care providers/women are the worst Human Right violators, who abuse/violate patients.
