i did hired an attorney but i don't know what's going on with him. he is alway so busy and after my first court date i haven't heard from him .

Just send him an e-mail or call his office and ask if he could please just send you an e-mail with a brief status of the case and what his plan is. You have to have some patience with your attorney, though if he never responds to you and leaves you hanging, you should make clear to him that that is not acceptable.
