In some instances, though, the court can set those aside if there is equitable grounds or if, for instance, it is alleged that a doctor billed for treatment you did not receive. Also, some LOPs (including mine) require that a doctor bill health insurance, that only related treatment is covered, etc.. Judges cal also help enforce those terms if a doctor is overbilling, failed to bill health insurance or is billing for unrelated treatment.
