BI Developer Contractor (3 to 6 month CONTRACT)

We are looking for talented and highly motivated Data Warehouse Engineer that can build lead and support the business by delivering high quality solutions for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Software Developer - Realtime Analytics Infrastructure

You will be responsible for building a new infrastructure to support realtime analytics. You will work with a smart, driven team to transform Big Data into applications and services that help delight, connect, and inspire users. The successful candidate will have significant influence over the roadmap, feature set, and design of the overall architecture across all components of the Big Data pipeline: data quality, model and schema design, large-scale data processing, statistics, machine learning, and visualization.

Core Qualifications:

Avvo is seeking driven, self-starting Account Managers to further develop our client services and support functions. Our AMs are responsible for developing long-term relationships with key legal clients, advocating on their behalf and fostering their success using Avvo's existing advertising websites and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an average of 450 clients while providing the highest level of customer service and support
  • Develop relationships with new clients
  • Prospect within your book of business to target opportunities for upselling/cross-selling other Avvo products and services
  • Assist clients in the design and content of their Avvo profiles and ads
  • Advocate on behalf of and assist all Avvo customers to the highest degree
  • Maintain existing relationships with a focus of continuously building new business for Avvo

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or applicable professional experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail a MUST!
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office a plus
  • Salesforce or CRM experience a plus
  • Start-up experience a plus

Compensation:

Advertising Operations Coordinator

Avvo is looking to hire an Advertising Operations Coordinator to join their Sales Ops team. This position is responsible for creating and placing client ads on the Avvo website, as well as managing miscellaneous client billing issues (failed credit cards, cancellations etc.) The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, is highly adaptable, and is looking for long term growth within an organization. It is an exciting position for a fresh college graduate or someone looking to take that first step into their career in sales!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales team on creation and placement of client ads
  • Create ad taglines for client pages
  • Process billing cancellations and client communications via Salesforce and/or Excel
  • Assist Sales Operations team with miscellaneous projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years office admin experience required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Experience working with inside sales/ call centers highly desired
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Gimp (or other Photoshop-like products) a plus

Customer Care Manager - Websites

Avvo is looking for a Customer Care Manager - Websites to take ownership of customer support and day-to-day operations of its websites product ( http://www.avvo.com/for-lawyers/avvo-websites). The ideal candidate has experience managing a customer support team and analyzing workflows and processes with a goal of improving and streamlining operations. This position works closely with the team’s support specialists and developers to identify and solve production and operations issues and improve the product and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer support for the websites product
  • Manage, analyze, and improve website production processes and team workflow
  • Participate in long-term planning to improve the website product and operations
  • Train, mentor, and manage customer support specialists
  • Manage workflow and deadlines of off-site team
  • Work with other Avvo teams to support and improve the websites product and overall customer experience
  • Establish processes to measure and improve quality assurance and customer satisfaction
  • Provide escalated customer support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience managing a customer support team or operations in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required
  • Experience with WordPress, JIRA (or other issue tracking software), and Salesforce highly desired
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery a plus
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Previous experience in process and workflow improvement/implementation
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
