BusinessWeek Turns to Avvo for Top Foreclosure Lawyers

BusinessWeek, one of the nation's leading business periodicals, asked Avvo to provide a list of top-ranking foreclosure attorneys for its July 30, 2008 stories Demand Surges on Foreclosure Sites and Finding Legal Advice.

The list of top foreclosure lawyers features 11 attorneys-all of whom have a perfect 10 Avvo Rating-in California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington State. Each lawyer is an expert in a foreclosure-related area such as mortgage defense, real estate, bankruptcy, and consumer debt.

The Avvo Rating is an evaluation of a lawyer's background. The rating is calculated using a mathematical model that considers the information shown in a lawyer's profile, including a lawyer's years in practice, disciplinary history, professional achievements, and industry recognition.
